Press Release – San Jose, CA– STRIKEFORCE® will host a free-of-charge, open to the public weigh-in with all fighters from Friday’s Challengers event on Thursday, March 31, at 5 p.m. PT in the Main Ballroom at Lexington Plaza Waterfront Hotel located at 110 W. Fremont Street in Stockton.
Members of the press as well as the public are encouraged to attend. The event is STRIKEFORCE’s first since being purchased by Forza, LLC, a subsidiary of Zuffa, LLC, which owns the Ultimate Fighting Championship® brand. The action will air live on SHOWTIME® at 11 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast).

Rising star and former NCAA wrestling standout Justin “The Silverback” Wilcox (10-3) will attempt to continue his climb in the STRIKEFORCE lightweight (155 pounds) division when he faces off with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Rodrigo Damm (9-4) in the main event. Wilcox, a Fresno, Calif. resident and collegiate wrestling and MMA teammate of UFC superstar Josh Koscheck, has been on a tear of late, winning his last five starts.
David “Tarzan” Douglas (7-2), a ferociously aggressive finisher, will square off with fellow prospect and US Army veteran Caros “The Future” Fodor (4-0, 1 NC) of Kirkland, Wash. at lightweight. Damion Douglas (3-1) will make his STRIKEFORCE debut against Wayne Phillips (5-3) of San Jose in a welterweight (170 pounds) contest. The Douglas brothers, who hail from Antioch, Calif., will become the first set of twins to compete on a STRIKEFORCE card on Friday.
