Strikeforce Challengers 19 went down last Friday night, September 23, in Las Vegas at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort, the now permanent home of the Challengers series.
The event featured a total of nine-bouts on the card, with five airing on Showtime.
On Monday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the medical suspensions for the event handing sentences to eleven of the eighteen fighters who participated on the card.
The full medical suspensions are as follows:
Main Card
Nick Rossborough: Suspended until 10/24/11 with no contact prior to 10/15/11 due to forehead laceration.
Shawn Jordan: Suspended indefinitely pending left hand (third metacarpal) X-ray to rule out fracture. If results are positive, must be cleared by an orthopedic doctor.
Lavar Johnson: Suspended until right elbow and right knee are cleared by an orthopedic doctor or no contest until 03/23/2012. Minimum suspension until 10/15/11 with no contact prior to 10/08/11.
Ryan Couture: Suspended until 11/06/11 with no contact prior to 10/24/11 for a forehead lacerations.
Todd Moore: Suspended until 10/24/11 with no contact prior to 10/15/11 for a scalp laceration.
Brian Melancon: Suspended pending right hand (first finger) X-ray to rule out fracture or no contest prior to 03/23/2012.
Preliminary Card
James Terry: Suspended until 10/24/11 with no contact prior to 10/15/11 for a left eyebrow cut and lower right eye cut.
Magno Almeida: Suspended pending left wrist X-ray to rule out fracture. If positive, must be cleared by an orthopedic doctor or no contest prior to 03/23/2012.
Bobby Green: Suspended indefinitely pending X-rays to both hands to rule out fractures of the right third metacarpal and left fourth and fifth metacarpal. If positive, requires doctor’s clearance to return.
Quinn Mulhern: Suspended until 11/06/11 with no contact prior to 10/24/11 for a scalp laceration.
Danny Davis: Suspended until 10/24/11 with no contact prior to 10/15/11 for precautionary reasons.
