With ten days left before the scheduled September 23, Strikeforce Challengers: Larkin vs. Zwicker event, promotion officials are left scrambling to find replacements for two fighters who pulled out due to injury.
Headliner, light heavyweight Virgil Zwicker (10-2), and prelim fighter, Jerron Peoples (4-1) will both need to be replaced. Zwicker had been scheduled to meet Lorenz Larkin in the main event, while Peoples was to meet Joe Ray.
Strikeforce officials announced the injuries on Twitter (@Strikeforce) Tuesday evening.

Strikeforce Challengers: Larkin vs. Zwicker will take place on the 23rd of this month at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card will air on Showtime with five matches, while the prelim card had been set with three bouts.
