WHO: Lightweight Rising Star Justin “The Silverback” Wilcox, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro, Brandon Heavyweight & Former NFL Player Wes “The Perfect Storm” Shivers, Women’s Exciting, Hard-Hitting Contender Jan Finney, Madison Up-And-Coming Light Heavy Anthony Mitchell, Vicksburg’s Jeremiah “Bigg Rigg” Riggs, Undefeated Jackson Native Ken Dubose, Plus all other main card and undercard fighters will weigh in

WHERE: MISSISSIPPI LEGENDS GRILL, Suite 50, 5352 Lakeland Drive, Flowood, Miss., 39232

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 18, at 4:30 p.m. CT; (Fighter check-in at 3:30 p.m.)

WHAT: All the athletes will step on the scales one day before the eagerly anticipated STRIKEFORCE Challengers event this Friday, Nov. 19, at Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson, Miss., live on SHOWTIME® (11 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast). The weigh in is open to the
public, free of charge.

In Friday’s main event, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro (20-4) will face
Justin “The Silverback” Wilcox (9-3) in a lightweight match. Power-punching Jan “Cuddles’’
Finney will face unbeaten Liz “Girl-Rilla’’ Carmouche in a key women’s match at 135 pounds.

Brandon’s Wes Shivers, a star offensive tackle at Mississippi State who was drafted by the ` Tennessee Titans and also played for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, will face Goldman Butler in a non-televised undercard bout. The 33-year-old, 6-foot-8 Shivers is a Rankin County Deputy Sheriff. In another pro, non-televised bout, middleweight Jeremiah Riggs, of Vicksburg, Miss., meets Jason Sharp (7-2) of Biloxi, Miss.

Local sensation Anthony Mitchell, of Madison, will take on Silver Creek’s Jeffery Hedgepeth in a light heavyweight amateur bout. In another amateur bout, Jackson’s Ken DuBoise will face Travis Robertson, of Memphis, Tenn.
