The Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament final takes place this coming Saturday at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, the culmination of an eight man tournament that has taken over a year to complete. On May 19, 2012, finalists Josh Barnett and Daniel Cormier will meet to crown the tournament champion and Strikeforce lightweight title holder, Gilbert Melendez, will defend his title against Josh Thomson in the third meeting of their careers.
