SAN DIEGO – Tarec Saffiedine was hoping a win over Roger Bowling would get him a shot at a title.
And while that may eventually prove to be the case, the Strikeforce welterweight will have to wait a while to find out. Saffiedine beat Bowling by unanimous decision Saturday night in San Diego. But the promotion still must kick around whether it was enough to warrant a title fight.
Saffiedine beat Bowling with a unanimous decision 30-27 sweep of the judges’ scorecards on the main card of “Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Tate.”
