Depending on who you ask, Brazilian submission ace Fabricio Werdum may be the perfect candidate to unseat Fedor
Emelianenko from his perch atop the list of the
world’s best heavyweight fighters.
Of course, others will tell you he’s simply the next name in a list of
vanquished opponents that already includes 27 other foes.
The truth will be discovered in the main event of Saturday’s
“Strikeforce and M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Werdum” event in San Jose, Calif.
After what he says has been the best – and longest – training camp of his life,
Werdum insists he’s the former.
