‘Stun Gun’ Kim, ‘Bruce Leeroy’ added to UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced a pair of interesting bouts for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 111 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, set for June 17, 2017 inside Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

Sorry, no main event yet.

Joining the UFC Fight Pass-televised extravaganza is streaking welterweight contender Dong Hyun Kim (22-3-1, 1 NC), who battles venerable 170-pound bruiser Colby Covington (11-1).

“Stun Gun” is the winner of four straight, including last December’s split-decision nod over Tarec Saffiedine. “Chaos,” meanwhile, captured three in a row and recently turned away Bryan Barberena at UFC on FOX 22.

Also getting busy in Singapore is dynamic striker Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres (12-10, 1 NC), who looks to snap a two-fight losing streak at the expense of Chinese import Wang Guan (15-1-1). “The Dongbei Tiger” has 13 finishes in 15 wins.

UFC Fight Night 111 will also feature a heavyweight showdown pitting former UFC 265-pound titleholder Andrei Arlovski against the venerable Marcin Tybura, while Takanori Gomi and Jon Tuck collide in lightweight action.

Stay tuned for more UFC “Singapore” announcements in the coming weeks.
