Social media will be “Suga” free in 2025 … at least on the former champ’s mobile device.

The clock is ticking for Sean O’Malley.

Beginning in 2025, the former UFC bantamweight champion will be deleting all his social media apps to focus on his career as a combat sports athlete. In addition, “Suga” will double down on his parental responsibilities.

“2025 l am deleting all my social medias off my phone until my next fight,” O’Malley wrote on Instagram. “My team will be running my socials. We will still make content but I just need a detox from my phone. Going to focus on reaching my full potential as an athlete and a father.”

The 30 year-old O’Malley (18-2, 1 NC) is one of the more colorful personalities on social media, but it’s fair to say his current situation may require less screen time. “Suga” was defeated by Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306 last fall and is coming off hip surgery.

“Can’t wait to get back in there healthy,” O’Malley added. “2025 I will become champ again.”
