O’Malley and Sketch talked some wild trash at each other while playing Madden, and the Twitch streamer didn’t hesitate to bring up Sean’s recent loss to Merab Dvalishvili.
Sean O’Malley didn’t let his defeat to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306 get him down for too long.
After a day or two of anguish and honest contemplation, the former bantamweight champion once again called on the Suga State Athletic Commission to overturn his loss. Since then he’s been back to his boisterous self and telling everyone who’ll listen that he actually won rounds 1, 3, and 5 against Dvalishvili, making him the true champion.
Unfortunately, those claims fell apart pretty quickly when Sean played a few online games of Madden with The Sketch Real, whose 1.4 million Twitch followers dwarfs O’Malley’s 295k numbers. While O’Malley managed to win both games he played against Sketch, he definitely took some hard shots on the trash talking front.

“I have no regrets and no tattoos,” Sketch told “Suga.” “And look at you. Many tattoos, many regrets.”
“When are you gonna start trying?” O’Malley asked as his score lead continued to increase.
“That’s exactly what I was saying during your fight,” Sketch said. “Boom. Roasted. You like that?”
“You should try that again, that play is hella working for you,” O’Malley said sarcastically as Sketch chucked another pass to no one.
“That’s exactly what I said in rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5,” Sketch replied.
That’s not to say O’Malley didn’t have his moments as well. In addition to taking two games and $50 bucks off Sketch, he heckled the professional streamer relentlessly through the stream for losing to him.
“I’m gonna have so much money after this game because I’m playing him for money and he sucks,” Sean said. “It’s almost as easy as Merab … Hey, My three year old daughter’s about to wake up from her nap. You want me to put her on the controller and see if you can beat her?”
“I haven’t slept in 48 hours,” Sketch claimed. “That’s because I’ve been grinding.”
“Grinding on what? Your f—ing pillow?” O’Malley fired back.
O’Malley’s been on a bit of a Twitch grind himself, streaming Call of Duty for just under 23 hours over the past seven days. With “Suga” headed for hip surgery (again), that may be the place to catch him for the next few weeks. We have to wonder whether his followers are buying into his Community Note-inducing fight scores, or if they see things the same way as Sketch.
