Teddy Holder was all set to face Jake Heun, but after the sudden departure of Matt Hamill from the WSOF 19 fight card in Phoenix, Arizona, Holder – on just hours notice – was called to face Thiago Silva. He obliged and made the most of his moment, beating the UFC veteran in the first round and moving one step closer to a title shot as this bout was part of a four-man mini-tournament to determine an eventual WSOF light heavyweight champion.
