Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) wrapped up a wild and wacky weekend of pay-per-view (PPV) action last Saturday night (March 2, 2019), after an eventful night of mixed martial arts (MMA) fights inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC 235: “Jones vs. Smith” ended with Jon Jones’ unanimous decision win over rough-and-tumble title contender, Anthony Smith. “Bones” retained his light heavyweight title with a technical performance was dominant, just a little light on fireworks. Prior to that 205-pound shebang, Kamaru Usman shook up the welterweight division with his 25-minute route of Tyron Woodley. “The Nigerian Nightmare” is now the promotion’s 170-pound kingpin and on a one-way collision course with former interim champion, Colby Covington.

Let’s also not forget the shenanigans that ended the Ben Askren vs. Robbie Lawler fight in favor of “Funky,” as well as the latest showcase performance from Chinese standout Weili Zhang. In addition, Pedro Munhoz announced himself as the next bantamweight title contender by stiffening ex-champion, Cody Garbrandt.
