Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) crowned a new undisputed middleweight champion last Sat. night (Oct. 5, 2016) in the UFC 243 pay-per-view (PPV) main event on ESPN+, which took place inside Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Israel Adesnaya is now king of the middleweights, thanks to his second-round knockout of Robert Whittaker.
Also featured “Down Under” was hometown lightweight contender Dan Hooker putting a three-round whooping on American interloper, Al Iaquinta. In addition, Tai Tuivasa tumbled further down the heavyweight ladder after getting pummeled by fellow up-and-coming bruiser, Sergey Spivak.
