Michael Chandler spent eight weeks in training camp with his best coaches, only to get separated upon arrival in Abu Dhabi as Team “Iron” — just like every other camp in town for the UFC 257 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Jan. 23 — was forced to quarantine to protect the “Fight Island” safety bubble.

Which was subsequently popped by this knucklehead.

“We were in quarantine for 48 hours kinda doing some makeshift workouts,” Chandler said. “So to be able to crack pads with Henry (Hoost), it’s good. Eight hard weeks for this training camp so to be separated for those few days felt a little foreign. Glad the band is back together.”

Chandler makes his Octagon debut opposite lightweight veteran Dan Hooker.
