The UFC may be AWOL this week, but that doesn’t mean there’s not a big fight card going down. Bellator is filling the Octagonal gap in the schedule with their own tent pole event as they prepare to put on one of their biggest cards of the year.
Bellator 170 will be headlined by a bout between former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz and former UFC title contender Chael Sonnen. In the co-main event, former Strikeforce title contender Paul Daley takes on home-grown action-fighter Brennan Ward. Throw some Hisaki Kato vs. Ralek Gracie and Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Emmanuel Sanchez on there and you’ve got yourself a fight card.
