Strikeforce heavyweight title before his single-round dispatching of
massive slugger Brett Rogers at Saturday night’s “Strikeforce St. Louis:
Heavy Artillery” event.
Overeem’s performance was the focus of several entries to this week’s
edition of “The Sunday Junkie,” our weekly reader feedback feature,
along with the production of the show, the cancellation of Shine Fights’
pay-per-view event and continued fallout from UFC 113.
But this week’s winning entry came from Edward Hitchins, who believes
Overeem’s performance may have finally silenced some of his doubters.
