Jake Paul says psychedelics cured Mike Tyson’s Parkinson’s, then says he misspoke. What the hell is going on?

Does Mike Tyson have Parkinson’s disease? According to Tyson’s reps, he doesn’t. But the fact that we had to fact check the claim lays bare just how pathetic Jake Paul’s fight against the 58-year-old was.

Paul is the king of sandbaggers. He’s made his boxing career beating over the hill MMA fighters in the ring. The one time he faced a half-decent boxer in Tommy Fury, he lost. But he’s so good at picking low risk, high reward opponents that his combat sports career continues to thrive. The last example of this was his ‘fight’ against Mike Tyson back in November 2024.

“Iron Mike” limped to the ring on shot knees and emptied his tank in the first three rounds, leaving Jake to throw half-hearted potshots at the elderly legend for the remainder of the bout. It looked so bad many were convinced the fight was fake or a fix — an allegation Paul’s promotion was forced to push back against in an official statement.

Now Paul has had to walk back another statement made on a Kick stream with Adin Ross where he discussed the benefits of psychedelics like magic mushrooms.

“Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well,” Paul added. “And same with toad! Toad cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so that he could come back and fight.”

Cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s? Tyson has Parkinson’s? Because there’s no cure for Parkinson’s. If Mike Tyson had Parkinson’s, he still had Parkinson’s when he fought Jake Paul. That’s insane if true, but Paul quickly ran back his statement blaming stupid internet idiots for listening to the dumb words coming out of his mouth.

“Bruh…Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinsons..WTF. Why the f—k is the internet so stupid for,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I misspoke. Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do.”

Tyson’s reps reached out to TMZ as well to say “Mike is happy and perfectly healthy. He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

This is just the second sketchy health moment surrounding the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight. The bout was originally scheduled for July 2024, but a medical emergency on a plane that ‘almost killed’ Tyson delayed the fight. But wait! It didn’t almost kill Mike. It was just an ulcer. No big deal. The $100 million event can move forward! Isn’t that fortunate.

We didn’t think things could go much lower after considering the age of Tyson, the medical issue they ignored, the performance we saw, and the following fake fight allegations. But we were wrong!
