Drew Dober is a dog.

Dober suffered his second straight loss at UFC Denver last night (Sat., July 13, 2024) when he endured an absolutely grisly cut at the hands of late replacement Jean Silva from inside Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. The fight was stopped in the third round as the doctors concluded it would be unsafe for Dober to continue (check out the disgusting cut here).

Following UFC Denver, Dober took to his Instagram to show everyone he was okay and show off his doctor’s visit.

“Such an honor to be able to step in there and show off my heart and determination,” Dober wrote. “Thank you, Denver, and the UFC for these moments and opportunities. There is no shame in failure. Just an opportunity to become a better man.”

UFC officials confirmed to MMAMania.com that it took less than 45 minutes to stitch up Dober’s ridiculous deep cut.

Since his magical 2022 run, where he rattled off three knockout wins against Terrance McKinney, Rafael Alves, and Bobby Green – Dober has gone 1-3 with two stoppage losses and has tumbled out of the Top 15 rankings.

Luckily for the 35-year-old knockout artist, he could lose 70 fights in a row, and the fanbase will love watching Dober fight.

Dober did pick up $50k, though.
