Yes, his balls are still hot.

UFC heavyweight contender Derrick Lewis took his shorts off right in the center of the Octagon on live television, so I can’t imagine “The Black Beast” would have any reservations about dropping trow in the middle of Houston.

Where his coach expects him to sprint in the triple-digit heat.

“Texas heat,” Lewis said on Episode 1 of UFC 265 Embedded. “I feel like I’m in shape, but it’s more of a mental thing. Even though it’s fight week it’s more of a mental side of things right now. I want to push myself as much as I can just in case it ended up going to the fourth or fifth round, which I don’t see it going.”

“I’m about to take these short off,” Lewis continued.

Lewis battles Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight strap, created in response to the extended layoff from reigning 265-pound titleholder Francis Ngannou. UFC 265 takes place this Sat. night (Aug. 7, 2021) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
