Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Dmitry Kuznetsov claims he was jumped by five thugs in retaliation for his diss track against current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
There’s also the outside chance he got his ass whooped simply for being a terrible rapper. If that’s the case, perhaps we can enlist their services for the likes of Tyron Woodley and Brian Kelleher, who write music like I write headlines.

”Now everyone will try to beat me up and humiliate me? This time five people, how many there will be the next time?” Kuznetsov wrote on Instagram (via Bloody Elbow). ”Why did you drag me along the concrete and tear my clothes? I don’t understand. Did they really want to rape me? I got some scratches and a hit in my head, so what? [You are] strange people.”
Kuznetsov goes by the nickname “Anubis” and I don’t know if that means he’s a fan of mummification or jackal-headed bipeds, since the closest I ever got to Egypt was the time I got drunk and passed out in a “Sin City” bathroom at Luxor Hotel & Casino.
And let me tell you that whoever said “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” never got VD, because that shit will follow you home.
Anyway, Kuznetsov (11-6) was last seen capturing a submission win over Arman Saparov last January in Pushkino. What he hoped to gain from his diss track is uncertain, but the chances of “Anubis” ever fighting “The Eagle” under MMA rules seem remote.
