Tony Ferguson has called out Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov on social media.
Tony Ferguson is up to his old tricks on social media.
The top-ranked UFC lightweight contender recently called out Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov on Twitter, mocking ‘The Notorious’ for tapping ‘like a b-tch’ at UFC 229 and calling ‘The Eagle’ a ‘coward’ for supposedly ducking him at UFC 209.
You were finished… Tapped out & Quit like a bitch. Now you’re stepping on my toes you false idols @TheNotoriousMMA @ParadigmSM @TeamKhabib Ready when you are Fathead. Don’t dodge me like #ufc209 Coward. No Loyalty to the game. -Real Champ Champ pic.twitter.com/8mMtmzZbPq

UFC 209 was originally supposed to feature a co-headlining interim title bout between Ferguson and Nurmagomedov, but Khabib was forced to pull out of the fight at the last minute due to a failed weight cut.
It was reported last month that Ferguson has been battling with mental health issues and is expected to be out of action for foreseeable future, but perhaps ‘El Cucuy’ is planning to return to the Octagon sooner than expected.
The 35-year-old is on an impressive 11-fight win streak and most recently beat former WEC and UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis, earning a stoppage victory over ‘Showtime’ in the UFC 229 co-main event.
