US President Donald Trump had some congratulatory words for Tito Ortiz after making quick work of Albert El Patron.
On Saturday night, Tito Ortiz made his 34th appearance inside a mixed martial arts cage. “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” faced former WWE star Alberto “El Patron” to headline the Combate Americas card in McAllen, Texas.
The UFC Hall-of-Famer made quick work of his opponent (video here), immediately grabbing dominant positions. After a few scrambles and a few attempts from Alberto, Ortiz continued his dominance until he secured back control from top position. He then sunk in the rear-naked choke until he got the tap.
The win marks Ortiz’s second win since coming out of retirement in late 2018 to defeat Chuck Liddell in a third fight. His efforts did not go unnoticed, as president Donald Trump tweeted a congratulatory message for the 44-year-old fighter right after the fight.
Congratulations to @TitoOrtiz on tonight’s huge WIN, a Great American Patriot! https://t.co/m4tJpfzVte

Ortiz, who does not seem to be retiring any time soon, now holds a win-loss slate of 21-12-1 (with 15 wins by stoppage).
