The Ultimate Fighter 22 will feature a European team, but the Finale card will be held on familiar ground in Las Vegas.

The show will emanate from the Palms in Las Vegas on Dec. 11, one night before the highly anticipated UFC 194 across town at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Las Vegas Review-Journal broke the news of the date on Wednesday.

Two bouts were announced for the card, as Joe Lauzon will meet Evan Dunham at lightweight and Mike Pierce meets Ryan LaFlare at welterweight.

Lauzon (25-10) has won three of his past four bouts, most recently a first-round stoppage of Takanori Gomi. Dunham (16-6) has won two straight.

Pierce (17-6) competes for the first time since being injured by a Rousimar Palhares heel hook in 2013. Prior to that loss, he had won four straight. LaFlare (11-1) looks to shake off his first career loss, to Demian Maia.

Conor McGregor will coach the European squad for TUF 22, which begins airing in September on FS1. Urijah Faber will coach the American team.

There will not be the traditional coaches fight at the end of the season, as McGregor, the UFC’s interim featherweight champion, will meet champion Jose Aldo in the main event of UFC 194.
