TUF Brazil 1 contestant, Alexandre Ramos, was caught with four pounds of cocaine while trying to enter the country.
TUF Brazil 1 contestant Alexandre Ramos, has been recently charged with international drug trafficking as he has been arrested for allegedly trying to enter an airport in Portugal while carrying four pounds of cocaine. As Combate reported, Ramos could be facing from four to ten years in prison.
Ramos was one of the reality show’s contestants that did not make it into the TUF house as he was defeated via TKO in the elimination rounds by Hugo Viana and never signed with the UFC.
Back in 2009, Ramos was also involved in a brawl at a soccer stadium in Brazil after the team he was rooting for lost a big game in the national championship. Ramos was among dozens of angry people who invaded the field to start a riot.
Because of the incident, he was expelled his gym, Universidade da Luta, which is ran by Mauricio and Murilo Rua, in Curitiba. One year later, he was re-accepted after leaving the firm and agreeing to do community work.
The 28-year old sports a 10-3 record and is coming off a submission win via triangle choke in August 2016.
