This is the TUF Nations Finale live blog for Michael Bisping vs. Tim Kennedy, a middleweight bout at Wednesday night’s UFC event at the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
Bisping, who has won three of of his past five fights, will face Kennedy, who has four of his past five fights, in the main event.

Round 1: Yves Lavigne is the referee in charge of the action. Both fighters open orthodox. Kennedy is in on a single almost immediately. Kennedy tried to switch to a double and gets it for just a second, then eventually gets it altogether. Bisping is trying to wall walk after spending some time in half guard. He eventually gets it. Bisping tries to roll for a kimura, but Kennedy pushes his down into mount for a moment before Bisping recaptures half guard. Kennedy then moves back to mount. Bisping rolls into Kennedy and eventually recaptures half guard.

Round 2: Bisping stalking early in the second frame and pumping the jab. Kennedy connects with a right and then an uppercut. Kennedy tries to snatch a single and press Bisping into the fence, but so far Bisping is upright. Then he separates. Jumping switch knee partially lands for Bisping. Decent but short right connects for Bisping. Kennedy is laying back either from fatigue or strategy and Bisping is getting loss with errants hots.

Round 3: Bisping with a right hands to open the round, but a good right hand and excellent single leg from Kennedy. Kennedy uses a knee cut pass to move into side control. Bisping briefly attempts a kimura, but Kennedy pulls out of it with relative ease. Kennedy moves again into side and then mount expertly so. Bisping tries to force himself off the fence to reverse position, but Kennedy stays on top.

Round 4: Kennedy is the first to stalk, but is winging huge punches that miss. Kennedy grabs another single and drives Bisping back into the fence. Bisping, however, is able to escape. Decent right for Bisping, then a left. Kennedy scores a body lock, but Bisping escapes and scores a left. Good left hook from Bisping and Kennedy scores one of his own. Decent right hand from Kennedy in an exchange, but Bisping is still there. And another from Kennedy.

Round 5: Kennedy scores with a push kick to the face, but Bisping lands a right hand. Kennedy gets a body lock takedown, but Bisping stands almost immediately. Kennedy drags him back to the mat quickly as well. Kennedy briefly moves to mount, but Bisping uses the cage to invert. Kennedy is still on top in half guard. Now Kennedy moves back to mount. For whatever reason, Yves Lavigne stands them up. Bisping with a head kick that partially scores. Kennedy misses on a right hand and pays for it with a Bisping left.
