Tai Tuivasa added insult to injury with an online takedown of Greg Hardy.
At UFC 264 Tai Tuivasa scored a massive first round stoppage win over Greg Hardy, which he followed with his trademark shoe-y celebration. With the dust settled on that bout, and all the other action that came out of UFC 264, Tuivasa has taken to social media to land one more hit on Hardy.
On Instagram Tuivasa mocked Hardy with a series of Instagram posts. In those he called Hardy the ‘Prince of Fuck All’ (a reference to Hardy’s fight nickname) and accused Hardy of talking too much in the lead-up to their fight. Tuivasa also referenced the controversial reason for Hardy’s exit from the NFL.

“I’m a man I hit back,” wrote Tuivasa in one of those posts.
Hardy was arrested On May 13, 2014 on suspicion of assaulting his ex-girlfriend by grabbing her by the throat, throwing her into furniture and strangling her while threatening to kill her. On July 15 a judge convicted him of assault and communicating threats and sentenced him to 18 months of probation.
Hardy appealed that conviction and requested a jury trial. That request was granted. However, the trial never went ahead after his accuser refused to co-operate with the prosecution. The prosecution told the media that it appeared as though Hardy and his accuser had reached a civil settlement.
In 2015 Hardy’s charges were expunged from his record. That same year Hardy’s contract with the Dallas Cowboys expired. He wasn’t offered a new contract by the Cowboys or any other team in the league.
Despite the controversy that has surrounded Hardy, the UFC invited him to make his pro MMA debut on the Contender Series in 2018. After two wins on that show, and a win on the regional circuit, Hardy was signed to the UFC proper.
In the UFC he has amassed a record of 4-4 (1 NC). He has lost his two fights by KO/TKO.
Tuivasa has been with the UFC since 2017 when he burst onto the scene with a flying knee KO of Rashad Coulter. Since then he has beaten Andrei Arlovski and Stefan Struve and holds a UFC record of 6-3. He’s won his last three bouts, all by KO/TKO.
