Twitter has reacted to the news of Conor McGregor announcing his retirement from MMA. This is the kind of news that always gets people talking online and thus, the reactions from MMA fighters on social media.

Many people believe that this is all a negotiation tactic by the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion. As of late, McGregor had been tied to several fights that include Donald Cerrone, Nate Diaz, and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Once this announcement was made, there was the theory that McGregor is doing this just to get more out of the UFC for his next fight. Time will tell whether that turns out to be true.
