Manny Pacquaio proved he has still got it at 40 years old as he defeated Keith Thurman by split decision.
Newly crowned WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (62–7–2, 39 KOs) handed Keith Thurman (29-1, 22 KOs) his first loss as a professional as the Filipino boxing legend won a split decision (113-114, 115-112, 115-112) on the night.
Pacquiao started off the fight well, landing a 1-2 that dropped Thurman in the first round. The Philippine’s success continued throughout the early rounds up until Thurman started to find his rhythm in the fourth, but still Pacquiao remained on the front-foot. Come round seven and Pacquiao had taken his foot off of the gas, and Thurman was clearly the aggressor improving drastically on the early rounds.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Pacquiao’s victory over Thurman.

Why is this PPV taking me up to a desk in the middle of a fight? Not feeling that part of the production at all.
