Local heavyweight Rashad Coulter will face Chase Sherman and Gadzhimurad Antigulov takes on Joachim Christensen at UFC 211 on May 13th.
UFC 211 on May 13th was already a big card in that it featured a heavyweight battle between champion Stipe Miocic and challenger Junior Dos Santos. Now it’s big in another way: with the addition of two last second fights, the card will feature a whopping 14 fights from Fight Pass prelims to PPV main event.
Just added to the card: popular local Dallas heavyweight Rashad Coulter, who will make his UFC debut against Chase Sherman. Also added: a light heavyweight tilt between Joachim Christensen and Gadzhimurad Antigulov.
The Coulter-Sherman fight has been changed around so many times it’s now a completely different fight. Originally it was Jarjis Danho vs. Dmitry Poberezhets, but Danho got injured and was replaced by Chase Sherman. Lightning then struck twice, and Poberezhets also ended up off the card. The UFC then reached out and brought in Rashad Coulter, who has won eight of his nine fights via knockout.
People tuning into the UFC 211 undercard will get to see if Coulter’s KO power can translate to the big leagues against Chase Sherman, whose UFC run currently sits at 0-2. As for the other fight, Gadzhimurad Antigulov is looking to build on his 13 fight win streak against Joachim Christensen, who is currently 1-1 in the UFC.
