MMAjunkie.com has learned from sources close to the
event that WEC newcomer Tyler Toner (9-1 MMA, 0-0 WEC) and undefeated
featherweight Brandon Visher (13-0 MMA, 1-0 WEC) have agreed to meet on
the preliminary card of “WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber.” Bout agreements are
expected to be finalized shortly.
The pair was originally expected to meet at this past December’s WEC 45
event, though Visher eventually faced Courtney Buck on late notice
after Toner was forced out of the matchup with licensing issues.
