Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will put his newly-minted 170-pound title on the line against current division No. 1 contender Stephen Thompson at tonight’s (Sat., Nov. 12, 2016) epic UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza held inside the historic Madison Square Garden Arena in New York City.

Woodley (16-3) captured the crown by beating the brakes off longtime welterweight slugger Robbie Lawler last July. Thompson (13-1), meanwhile, earned his championship title shot by winning seven straight, including last June’s unanimous decision nod over the since-departed Rory MacDonald.
