Tyson Nam has found a home.

The bantamweight fighter, who grew in popularity after knocking out Bellator champion Eduardo Dantas Jr. in August, has signed an exclusive four-fight contract with World Series of Fighting, Ali Abdel-Aziz, the promotion’s executive vice president, confirmed with MMAFighting.com on Wednesday night.

According to Abdel-Aziz, Nam will face the winner of Miguel Torres vs. Marlon Moraes, scheduled for Nov. 3 in Las Vegas, at a yet-to-be announced second WSOF event in January. No date or location has been finalized for the January event.

Nam (12-4) has won his last four fights in a row, however, he has only fought once since Oct. 2011. Prior to knocking out Dantas at a Shooto Brazil 33 event this past summer, Nam was a free agent with no real suitors. He was signed by Bellator several months ago but released before getting an opportunity to fight for the organization. Bellator then decided against matching WSOF’s offer to Nam, per a recent MMAJunkie.com report.

According to industry sources, Nam drew interest from Bellator, WSOF and the UFC after the Dantas win, but he ultimately chose the upstart promotion.

WSOF 1, headlined by Andrei Arlovski vs. Devin Cole, will air on NBC Sports Network.
