Jake Paul embarrassed Nate Robinson in the co-main event of Tyson vs. Jones Jr, winning by second-round KO.

In what must have been one of the sloppiest high-profile boxing fights of all time, Jake Paul (2-0, 2 KO’s) knocked out former NBA point guard Nate Robinson (0-1) in the second round.

Robinson came firing out of the blocks practically sprinting at Paul in the centre of the ring. The former NBA player was virtually grappling Paul in the clinch pushing his head down when both men tied up. Paul dropped Robinson with an overhand right as he again sprinted towards “The Problem Child.”

The 36-year-old protested the knockdown and barely made the referee’s count, claiming the punch landed on the back of the head. Replays showed the punch was legal and landed behind the ear of Robinson.

At the start of the second round, Robinson continued to shown no technical skills whatsoever and was shortly dropped with a right hand again by Paul. Although he made the count, Robinson was caught with another shot and knocked out cold by Paul.

In his post-fight interview, Paul payed respect to Robinson and thanked him for the fight. The YouTube star remained adamant he wants fights with the likes of Dillon Danis in the future, and also called-out “KSI” who defeated Logan Paul (Jake’s brother) back in September 2019.

Official result: Jake Paul def. Nate Robinson by KO (round two)
