UFC 109 “fighter arrivals” canceled, but Thursday’s press conference open to public

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s “fighter arrival” event for this week’s UFC 109 card has been canceled, but UFC officials have confirmed with MMAjunkie.com they have opened Thursday’s press conference to the public.

The fighter arrivals were scheduled for today at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, which also hosts Saturday’s pay-per-view event.

Instead, fans are invited to Thursday’s pre-event presser, which takes place at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT local time).
