Not long after UFC welterweight Thiago Alves steps off the scales to
weigh-in for his rematch with Jon Fitch at Saturday’s UFC 111 event in
Newark, N.J., he will host a meet-and-greet with fans, local New
York-based press, and MMA media outlets.
On Friday, March 26 at 8 p.m. ET, Alves will answer questions at Sazon
Restaurant in downtown Manhattan about his training camp and the
upcoming fight.
“It’s a good opportunity for the local media and a few lucky fans to
meet UFC fighters and see what they are like,” Malki Kawa, Alves’
representative, told MMAjunkie.com.
