UFC 112’s John Gunderson doesn’t want daughters following in his footsteps

UFC lightweight John Gunderson’s daughters Makayla and Tatum, ages 6 and 4, know their dad fights for a living. They often accompany him to the office, so to speak, when he’s getting ready for a job.

But Gunderson, who faces Paul Taylor on Saturday at UFC 112, doesn’t want them to watch him work right now, and he certainly doesn’t want them to follow in his footsteps.

“They’re young, and they’re girls, so I want them to have a good childhood growing up,” Gunderson recently told MMAjunkie.com Radio.
