LAS VEGAS – Fans who limit their intake of mixed martial arts strictly
to UFC contests likely have little idea who Antonio Rogerio Nogueira really is.
He may perhaps be known as the twin brother of former UFC interim
heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Or fans may remember his
lone UFC performance to date – a UFC 106 “Knockout of the Night” win
over Luiz Cane.
At Saturday night’s UFC 114 event in Las Vegas, Nogueira plans on taking
the next step toward making his a household name.
