Live on Saturday, July 3, 2010 the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada will host UFC 116.  The time has finally arrived for the two Giants to meet in the Octagon.  Current UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar (4-1) will look to defend his belt for a second time against Undefeated Heavyweight Interim belt holder Shane Carwin (12-0) to Unify the Title.  The two were set to do battle at UFC 106, but due to an illness Lesnar had to pull out and and would possibly meet at UFC 108.  Lesnar had mononucleosis and had to pull out once again.  He is fully recovered and has been training for Carwin.  Carwin has ended all four of his UFC fights by T/KO and all in round one.  Lesnar is on a three fight win after losing his UFC debut to Frank Mir.  This is a match up of two very big strong wrestlers.  It may come down to whose striking is better, we know they both have KO power.  Expect a great main event and I don’t see this fight going all five rounds.
