Medical suspensions were issued to 16 fighters from this past weekend’s UFC 134 event, and four fighters – including Forrest Griffin, Stanislav Nedkov, Raphael Assuncao and Ian Loveland – could be out up to six months.
UFC 134 took place Aug. 27 at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena.
Zuffa LLC, the UFC’s parent company, oversaw the suspensions and regulatory processes due to the lack of an official sanctioning body in Brazil.
