the UFC level, and UFC 136’s Joe Lauzon is quite aware of that fact.

But his main-card matchup with Melvin Guillard appears about close as
one can get – see Lauzon’s three “Submission of the Night” victories in
his past five fights vs. Guillard’s seven (out of eight total) career
losses via tapout.

So Lauzon’s strategy for Saturday night’s event at Houston’s Toyota
Center should be no shocker. The 27-year-old jiu-jitsu
specialist said he knows the task won’t be easy, but he’s willing to go
out on his shield making an effort.
