LAS VEGAS – “The Ultimate Fighter 8” winner Efrain Escudero recently
fought his way back into the UFC and claimed a late-notice replacement
slot.
Unfortunately, he ran into fast-rising lightweight Jacob Volkmann, who used takedowns and a dominant top game to largely cruise to a shutout unanimous-decision victory.
The preliminary-card fight was part of UFC 141, which took place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. It streamed on Facebook prior to the night’s Spike TV and pay-per-view broadcasts.
