Martin Kampmann and Patrick Cote will be forced to the sidelines for 60 days due to medical suspensions handed down by the regulatory body overseeing last weekend’s UFC 154.

The province of Quebec’s combat sports commission, under the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux, released the information on Tuesday to MMA Fighting.

Kampmann and Cote suffered similar fates though very different outcomes at the event. Kampmann was the victim of a 46-second knockout at the hands of surging contender Johny Hendricks, while Cote was awarded a disqualification victory after suffering a series of damaging and illegal strikes to the back of his head in a matchup with Alessio Sakara.

Most of the event’s 24 fighters received only 14 days’ rest periods, although there were a few exceptions.

UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre, for example, will require 28 days off after his grueling five-round decision win over Carlos Condit. The challenger was given a mandated 30-day suspension.
