UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre led the reported $1,641,000 payroll for UFC 167, earning $400,000 for his successful title defense against Johny Hendricks on Saturday night in Las Vegas, NV, according to figures released to MMAFighting.com by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

St-Pierre fought back from early danger to score a controversial split decision win against Hendricks, who pocketed $50,000 in a losing effort. The success title defense was St-Pierre’s ninth in a row since regaining the belt in 2008.

Fellow main card winners Rashad Evans, Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley topped the remaining payroll, each taking home six-figure paychecks for their victories. Co-headliner Evans ($250,000) stopped Chael Sonnen ($100,000) in the first round, Robbie Lawler ($166,000) upset Rory MacDonald ($50,000) via split decision, and Tyron Woodley ($104,000) dropped Josh Koscheck ($78,000) to the first three-fight losing streak of his career with a destructive first-round knockout.

Lightweight veteran Donald Cerrone led the night’s seven-fight undercard, pocketing $96,000 for his vintage first-round submission win over Evan Dunham ($25,000).

UFC 167 took place November 16, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. As always, the entire UFC 167 payroll can be seen below, although these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as sponsorship money and discretionary post-fight bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
