It’s not quite the way he wanted to finish it, but light heavyweight Ovince St. Preux ran his win streak to four on Saturday night.
OSP and Ryan Jimmo were battling on the ground in Vancouver at UFC 174 when Jimmo suddenly started yelling that his arm was broken. That turned into an awkward finish, as the bout continued a bit before the referee stopped it.
It goes into the books as an injury TKO victory at 2:10 of the second round for St. Preux (16-5), his 12th career stoppage win.

The opening round of the fight got off to a fast start, with both fighters trading blows, but slowed down toward the end. A takedown and a final flurry by OSP likely sealed the round in his favor.
St. Preux had taken over the fight in round two when it came to the sudden conclusion. Even with the benefit of replay, it was not clear where the break to Jimmo’s right arm occurred.
“Either I broke it with a chicken wing — wrestling, I’m telling you right now my wrestling or good — or he caught one of my high kicks with my arm.”
Jimmo dropped to 19-4. He’s 3-3 in the UFC, in a win one-lose one pattern his entire stint.
