LAS VEGAS – Todd Duffee waited nearly two years to make his return to the Octagon.

From there, it was a mere matter of seconds before he delivered a Todd Duffee Special.

Duffee (9-2) needed just 33 seconds to finish Anthony Hamilton in a heavyweight fight at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

In the fight’s opening exchange, Duffee nailed Hamilton (13-4) with a big right hand to the temple. Hamilton hit the mat face first, then Duffee landed one more right hand before the referee waved it off.

Duffee last fought, and won, at UFC 155. But a series of health issues had kept the American Top Team fighter out of the Octagon.

“I’ve had tough times, man,” said Duffee. “Just believe in yourself. That’s all you can do in life. Every day, take it one at a time.”

All nine of Duffee’s career wins have come by KO or TKO.
