The 23-year-old Chute Boxe fighter from Sao Paulo improved to 19-0 overall and 2-0 in the UFC on Saturday night, scoring a first-round TKO over veteran Yves Jabouin at UFC 186.
A big left hook kicked off an impressive finishing flurry, as the fight was waved off at 4:18.

“I fight very hard, he’s a very tough guy and a test and then I was very happy,” said Almeida.
It was his 14th career knockout and 18th career finish for Almeida.
“I work very very hard to prepare so much for this fight,” Almeida said. “I do fine, I’m very happy to finish the fight.”
Jabouin, a Tristar fight, lost for the second time in his past three fights. He’s been in a win-one, lose-win pattern over seven fights dating back to 2012.
