UFC 196 — which saw Nate Diaz upset Conor McGregor and Miesha Tate dethrone Holly Holm — is now in the book (results here), so what better time to start looking ahead toward Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) next pay-per-view (PPV) offering than the present.

The mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion has unveiled the official fight poster of UFC 197, which is set to pop off from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 23, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The event will be headlined by a much-anticipated rematch that will see Daniel Cormier defend his Light Heavyweight title against Jon Jones in what will be the former champion’s first fight back from a tumultuous 2015 that saw him get stripped of the title following a hit-and-run accident

The two men initially collided at UFC 182 in January of 2015, which saw Jon retain his 205-pound title against he former Olympic wrestler by walking away with a dominant unanimous decision win.

This time around, the stakes are much higher, as “Bones” looks to prove to the world that he is indeed the best 205-pound fighter on the planet, while Cormier looks to silence his naysayers by going out and demonstrating why he truly deserves to have the strap around his waist.

In the co-main event of the evening, UFC Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson looks to add on to his -ever-impressive resume when he defends his 125-pound strap agaisnt Olympic gold medalist, Henry Cejudo in a bout that promised to provide “Mighty Mouse” with his most dangerous test to date.
