When Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) stages UFC 200 on July 9, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion will be pulling out all the stops.
After all, the historic and monumental event is set to go down as the most stacked pay-per-view (PPV) in the history of the company and the sport. And with the big names set to participate on the card, it’s safe to assume it will be the “biggest, baddest card ever.”
Highlighted by a main event pitting Daniel Cormier defending his Light Heavyweight belt against Jon Jones, UFC 200 will also feature a co-main event between Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt.
In fact, the deck is so stacked that two other title fights are playing second fiddle to Lesnar’s return, as Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar will vie for the interim Featherweight strap while Miesha Tate looks to defends her Bantamweight strap against Amanda Nunes.
And when you add the likes of Cain Velasquez, Diego Sanchez, Takanori Gomi, Travis Browne and many more, the event has a making of a memorable night of fights.
As described in the latest promotional video embedded above, the event will feature three current UFC champions, six former UFC champions, one former K-1 champion, one former PRIDE FC champion, three Ultimate Fighter (TUF) winners, and 93 “Fight Night” bonuses combined.
Wow.
