With 42 total Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) events throughout 2024 — on top of all of the other promotions such as Bellator MMA, Professional Fighter’s League (PFL), ONE Championship, and Bareknuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) — combat sports fans have probably forgotten about many of the wild moments that happened throughout the year.
From knockouts and post-fight interviews to funny in-cage spots, or maybe you’re a hardcore mixed martial arts (MMA) freak and remember everything.
Well, either way, we’ve got you covered.
In part three of UFC 2024, “Rewind,” which runs from UFC Denver (July 13, 2024) to UFC Paris (Sept. 28, 2024), we look back at some of the most memorable moments from that specific event timeline, including “Rocky” losing his title, the worst card of 2024, and THE SPHERE.

The poor U.K. fans were at the arena until 6 a.m. watching this pay-per-view (PPV) live. Belal Muhammad captured the Welterweight championship from Leon Edwards; however, buried in the “Prelims” was Manel Kape vs. Muhammad Mokaev, and while the fight sucked – it was the pre-fight antics that were memorable.
Kape and Mokaev needed extra security before the fight started because they wanted to scrap before the contest began.

UFC Vegas 96 was the worst card of 2024. It was brutal to endure. 7 of the 10 fights ended the decision, and there were no stakes in any of the fights.
Before the “Featured fight” on the main card, UFC newcomer Nikolay Veretennikov screwed up his walkout, attempting to weave through the crowd as he was confused about where to go.
He would go on to lose a split decision to Danny Barlow.

One of the craziest feats that the UFC ever pulled off went down at UFC 306 – hosting a fight card at The Sphere – and while the fights didn’t live up to the massive expectations, the show itself was simply incredible.
In the “Prelims” headliner right before the PPV, Irene Aldana suffered one of the worst cuts in UFC history when Norma Dumont sliced her up.
