Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bagged and tagged its “Miocic vs Overeem” event last Saturday night (Sept. 10, 2016) inside Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. It was a wild night of mixed martial arts (MMA) fights that had a little something for everyone.
Stipe Miocic retained his heavyweight title by knocking out Alistair Overeem in the five-round main event. As you might expect from a video titled “Thrill and Agony,” we get a closer look at his post-fight celebration, as well as the super sad faces from Team Reem.
Most noticeably, brother Valentijn.
Elsewhere on the card, CM Punk was creamed by rising star Mickey Gall. But that didn’t stop the former pro wrestler from telling his opponent how to better market himself for future fights. “Don’t ever say you don’t belong, okay? You always belong. You’ve got to believe in yourself.”
